Applesauce Cake and Muffin Mix

Introducing our newest baking mix: Applesauce Cake and Muffin Mix, now available in both traditional wheat based and gluten free! This is a vegan friendly recipe, meaning it doesn’t require eggs or dairy, making it safe for people with an egg or dairy allergy.

Made with plump raisins and a touch of cinnamon. Just add applesauce, melted coconut oil (or melted butter), cider vinegar and one apple, peeled and diced (optional). The diced apple makes a great add-in, giving a nice texture and flavor to these delicious muffins. Or make a cake using an 8×8″ square baking pan. Serve warm or let cool and dust with powdered sugar.

This dense, moist cake or muffins hold up well in bag lunches and make a very filling snack to stash for long car rides. No need to refrigerate.
